By the way, no one will ever convince me that if you have your closer available for three innings that you should use anyone but your closer in an elimination game from the seventh inning on (assuming the game is not a six run blowout). Managers and fans (and Times reporters) just love to save their closers for tomorrow, or next week, or next year but as Frank Sinatra once sang:

"Just forget about tomorrow,
Just forget about tomorrow,
Just forget about tomorrow for...
Tomorrow never comes."
